We All Need Miracles Everyday.
Being a beginner podcaster is like starting a garage band
– low budget hoping to make it big.
What both ventures share is the need for good music.
But what does one play for a podcast called “Leading Chaos” – the title alone causes some to run and hide and others to nod and go “Hey, Cool name. What does it mean?”
I literally needed a miracle! Something easy to listen to, that made me smile.
Leading Chaos is not an easy job.
Cripes I’m talking chaos, not air fresheners or Bundt Cake Cooking 101.
While making my first mock podcast, I went into my trusty CD collection and saw the song immediately.
At first I wasn’t sure how the song would work, but when I played the first lick of the chorus – It felt like an immediate “Slam Dunk”!
The first three episodes of the show are featuring “I need a miracle” from The Closing of Winterland, December 31, 1978
The band, of course, is the Grateful Dead.
This is a 4-disc box set. The concert was recorded at Winterland Arena, in San Francisco, California on New Year’s Eve 1978.
The Dead rocked Winterland all night long.
In the morning there was breakfast for the whole audience. Talk about leading chaos towards safety, sanity and order!!
A full belly is a darn good place to start.

There you can purchase this amazing concert and your own recording of “I need a miracle” — Don’t we all?
