Can a person who had violent psychotic episodes forty years ago, become a successful full-time Harvard Medical School trained Pediatrician? Yes! – Listen in as Dr. Vonnegut describes his experience and provides tips on how-to lead the chaos of mental illness.
Dr. Vonnegut authored two books, his first memoir “Eden Express” which made the American Library Association Notable Book List and his more recent memoir , “Just like Someone with Mental Illness Only More So” which was published by Bantam Books. His writing is witty, and so spot that it is difficult not to dog ear every page. Suffice to say these books are fantastic reads.
Each books provide a glimpse into his management of his mental illness and his life with his famous father, American writer, Kurt Vonnegut.
